Europe hits blockchain
We thought that the crypto sector was silent when implementing the Snim Act. However, European regulations develop and continue to put sticks into industrial rounds.
When implementing RGPD regulations, data protection has become one of the foreheads of the old continent … and maybe a little too much. The European Data Protection Committee (CEPD) has recently introduced its directives concerning the preservation of data in the blockchains, with elements that make experts in this industry:
- Blockchains will have to treat as little data as possible;
- All personal data, especially the crypt of wallet, must be able to be removed from the blockchain;
- Blockchain nodes are considered to be data controllers;
- Valinators must be confirmed at the European GDPR;
- Intelligent contracts are potentially uncompliance and must be replaced.
So many measures that swear with the principles of blockchain. The data is asked to remove the data while it is precisely stored to be displayed while the validators and nodes need to be identified. What if this is not possible, especially in the case of decentralized public blockchain? It should be removed.
Resistance is organized
Panic begins to regain its rights in the local crypto sector, but the European crypto initiative (EUCI) intends to hear his voice. This non -profit organization aimed at preventing the interests of the local industry, which has already negotiated with the regulatory bodies within the SIDA law and intends to repeat it.

In the recent publication OX, EUCI proposes to meet regulators and proposes to turn to privacy technologies, such as evidence with the publication of zero knowledge (ZKP).
